Returns & refunds
Last updated 12 August 2026Buying gear you can’t try first is uncomfortable, and we’d rather you asked us before you ordered than sent something back after. Message us your all-up weight and where you fly and we’ll tell you honestly whether a thing fits you.
TODO(owner) — The return window is not set. Everything below assumes there is one, but the number is yours to decide (30 days is the common retail default) and it must be stated before launch. Do not ship these pages with this unresolved. What can come back
Unused gear in original packaging, with tags and manuals, that has never been flown, laid out on a field, or had a motor started on it.
What cannot come back
- Reserve parachutes that have been opened or repacked.Once a reserve leaves its sealed packing we can’t verify how it’s been handled, and we won’t resell a reserve whose history we can’t vouch for. This one isn’t negotiable — it’s the piece of gear someone bets their life on.
- Wings that have been flown or ground-handled. A wing picks up wear from its first session, and a used wing sold as new is exactly the thing we tell people to avoid.
- Motors that have been fuelled or run.Once fuel goes in, it isn’t new.
- Helmets that have taken an impact.
- Anything built or configured to order.
Who pays return shipping
TODO(owner) — Decide and state this plainly. The realistic options: customer pays return shipping except where the item is faulty or we shipped the wrong thing; or you cover it as a service differentiator. Note the shipping bands on the shipping page ($35–$165) — return shipping on a wing is not trivial, so this needs to be explicit rather than assumed. If we sent the wrong item, or it arrived faulty or damaged, we cover return shipping and sort it out. That part isn’t conditional.
Refunds
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank decides how quickly it appears — usually a few business days after we process it. Original shipping is refunded only where the return is our fault.
Training deposits
Training reserves with a 50% deposit, and the balance is due before or at the course.
TODO(owner) — Set the cancellation terms: how far out a booking can be moved or cancelled with the deposit refunded, and what happens inside that window. Courses run in small cohorts, so a late cancellation is a seat you likely can’t refill — the policy should reflect that. Also state what happens when weather cancels a course day.Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply as written by each manufacturer. We’ll help you make a claim.
TODO(owner) — Confirm whether you add any dealer-level warranty on top, and whether warranty claims route through you or direct to the manufacturer.Starting a return
Contact us with your order number before sending anything back. Returns arriving without prior contact are much harder to process.
